BARBERTON -- Ruth E. Over, (nee Deibel), 91 passed away December 12, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Doylestown, she had been an area resident all her life where she was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Ruth loved bowling, playing bridge, crocheting, needlework and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Charlotte Deibel; son, James W. Wiant; sister, Gertrude Trostle; and brothers, Joe and Ed Deibel; survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Clair L.; sons, Thomas J. (Anne) Wiant of Greenville, S.C. and David E. (Diane) Wiant of Brunswick; daughter, Barbara A. (Les) Galbreath of Aiken, S.C.; stepsons, David (Voncile) Over and Dennis Over all of Barberton; stepdaughters, Patricia and Kathryn Over both of Charleston, S.C.; daughter-in-law, Laura Wiant of Mogadore; sisters, Catherine Davis of New Jersey and Mary Lou Ault of Doylestown; and numerous nieces and nephews especially John W. (Helen) Deibel of Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009, 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd.
