Roger F. "Papa" Kline, 70, passed away unexpectedly January 17, 2010. He was born in Akron on December 25, 1939 to the late Jack and Edith (Adams) Kline and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1958 graduate of Hower High School and enjoyed a career in printing and automobile sales. Roger was a proud parent and was extremely fond of his grandchildren. He was also well-known as an avid golfer and possessed a great sense of humor, even if he missed a putt; although he didn't miss many... He is survived by his brothers, twin Victor (Pam), Doug and Dan (Marilyn); children, Chad (Jenn) and Amy Kline; grandchildren, Mason and Chase Haywood, Camden, Kelton, and Khloe Edith Kline, and Courtney Crane; and many nieces, nephews and great friends. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. A private family service will be conducted at the conclusion of the calling hours.
