BARBERTON---Mary Elizabeth Often (nee Graham), passed away August 10, 2009 at Pleasant View Health Care Center. Mary was born in Mount Savage, Maryland and had been a Barberton resident since 1952 where she was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was a quiet woman who loved her family. Her family loved the special dishes Mary prepared for family gatherings. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband Gerald; parents John and Leona Graham; and brother John F.; survivors include her daughters Mary Lee (Duane) Kimble of Westfield Center and Geri (Bob) Fisk of Barberton; grandchildren Seann Scarberry, Stephanie Fullem, Stacy (Kevin) Breuers, Carrie (Kevin) Young, Amy (Duane) Matheson and Shane Fisk; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Irene (Andy) Geffert of Barberton; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Pleasant View Health Care Center for all their kindness and great care they gave our Mom. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009, 10 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Rev. David Majikas celebrant. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Friday from 5-8 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. Memorials may be made to Pleasant View Health Care Center Activities Fund.
