Age 83 of Canal Fulton died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009. Lois was born in Newman, to the late Perlee and Mary Kaufman and had been a life resident of the area. She was a member of SS Philip & James Catholic Church, and the Altar-Rosary Society of the church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Thora Youngman, Maxine Anania, Mary Wilhelm, Betty Krisher; brothers, Perlee Kaufman, Jr, Donald Kaufman and Robert Kaufman. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Stephan; children, William (Sandy) Stephan, Patricia Ann (William) Toth, Robert J. (Suzanne) Stephan, III, Paul (Sarah) Stephan; grandchildren: Jennifer (Matt) Omlor, Michelle (Dan) Clowser, Melanie Toth, Lisa Toth and Richard Stephan; step-grandchildren: Greg (Erica) Ferrance, Michael (Sheila) Ferrance and Trilynn Beck; great grandchildren, Nathan, Garrett and Brenton; nieces and nephews. Graveside Service, SATURDAY, 11 a.m. at the SS Philip & James Church Cemetery, 412 N. High Street, Canal Fulton with Fr. John Warner Officiating. Friends may call FRIDAY 5-8 pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) and SATURDAY 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In Lieu of flowers.
