Larry E. Wiesen

WADSWORTH -- Larry E. Wiesen, 59, of Wadsworth, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009.  Born January 3, 1950 to John Wiesen and (Ellen) Joyce Smith, Mr. Wiesen worked for The Ohio Match Company, Clampco, Oak Rubber Company, Norton City School District, and Brunswick City School District. Larry was involved in The National Shrine of St. Dymphna in Massillon, Ohio, as well as numerous other charities and organizations.  Preceded in death by father, John R. Wiesen, Sr., in-laws, Glen (Bill) and Eileen Arnold, one sister and two brothers, Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara (Arnold) Wiesen; mothers, (Ellen) Joyce Smith and Naomi (Dawn) Wiesen; daughters, Laurie (Samuel) Adrian and Tracy (Dr. John) Guerriero; and grandchildren, Sophia Guerriero, John Guerriero, and Jacob Guerriero. He is also survived by five sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, with Deacon Bob Bender officiating. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Street Ministries, 130 West South Street, Akron, OH 44311.
