Kathrine Marie Pritchard, 54, passed away February 21, 2010, after a courageous battle with multiple health concerns, while maintaining a positive attitude. Born in Warren Ohio, she lived most of her life in the Akron area. Mrs. Pritchard worked as an office manager for Nickles Bakery for 34 years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Swann and stepfather, Glen “Duke” Thullen. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Jim; mother, Harriett Thullen; sister, Doey Swann; brothers, Billy (Tanya) Swann, Grant (Sonya) Thullen, and Dirk (Erika) Thullen; many beloved nieces and nephews, who loved and cherished her, and numerous extended family members and friends. The funeral service will be Thursday, February 25, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of The Cedars Maronite Catholic Church, 507 S. Cleveland Massillon Road, with Fr. Tousfic Nasr officiating. The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., on Wednesday, February 24, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., where prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. Friends who wish may make contributions in her name to the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44305, to help defray medical expenses.
