BARBERTON----Kathleen Barnes, 87, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2009 at Sumner on Ridgewood. Born in Kenmore, Kathleen was a life resident of Barberton and retired from O’Neil’s Dept. Store. She was also a member of Barberton Wesleyan Methodist Church. Kathleen lived her entire life as a servant of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Clouse Barnes and brother Bennett Elrod. Survivors include her son James (Tommie) of Loudon, TN.; daughter Brenda (William) Miller of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters Eunice Barnes of Indianapolis, IN and Geraldine Heinz of Clinton, NC. The family wishes to thank the attending angels at Sumner on Ridgewood and from VNS Hospice. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2009, 1:00 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Private Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
